hello,

always I help customer upgrade their cluster from midline to highline, I need to get PIN code from old cluster for adaption.

I have a problem is, there is no device can read PIN code from
VISTEON cluster( VW GOLF 5 Visteon cluster ),so I need to get
the PIN code from ECU.

Here, in Taiwan , GOLF 5 1.4GT,2.0TDI,1.9TDI all come with Visteon midline cluster,I can't do anything.

I need your advice about what device I need to read PIN code(eeprom data) from ECU. I have CARPROG,UPA-USB,XPROG-M .....

Is there any good device can get PIN(or eeprom data) from ECU via OBD ? or via BDM ?

I had tried to open ECU box, it is hard to get eeprom location(front),the box is strong.and only can get wrong side (back)

thanks for your kindly advice
