I have been converting HD mkv movie files into HD MPEG2 ts format then ftping to my box so I can play them back on my DM500HD and I'm having some playback issues.
I am finding that the DM500HD doesn't recognise the full running time of the film that is on the external hard drive
So for example
a 2 hour film shows on the dreambox as 1hr 30 mins.
Now the strange thing is that when the film plays and it gets to the 1 hr 30 mins point the timer at the bottom changes to 2 hours. If I then try to pause or rewind/fastforward between 1 hrs 30 and 2hrs the hdd drive then freezes.
Movies that I've recorded directly off the satellite are fine and there are no issues with the recording run time.
Anyone doing anything similar, ever had any similar problems ?
