Ok i want to install a mod chip in my 360. after looking for a few days im unsure of what 1 to buy. Basicly what i want is to know what would suit me best. Also i would like to know once these are installed are they a 1 time fix or do they need updated often. i sometimes play online ( with original games ) will this get me banned or will it need turned of. I dont mind about the cost or the difficluty when installing. Any help would be great thanks

you need the top 3 to flash the xbox, abgx is only needed to verify games before you burn them to help stop you getting banned from xbox live.
Try here for the connectivity kit with probe
Xecuter CK3 Lite + CK3 Probe 2 - ModTraders.co.uk (http://www.modtraders.co.uk/xecuter-ck3-lite-ck3-probe-2.html)
Jungleflasher and the new firmware can be downloaded from this site.
You are best following the cunny's guide which is posted on the site. Judging by the date on your xbox it must be a very early liton which are pretty easy to do

You need the CK3 kit to power the drive, tho this can be done from the xbox itslef, (harder to achieve power cycle when flashing)
Probe V1 needed for liteon 73 stock firmware.
Probe V2 needed for MRA hack (liteon 83v2 and 93 series, or flashed with LT)
All other drives can be done without ck3 kit or probes ect.
Why not see what drive is inside yours and post back?
If you flash with LT then you wont need the activate disc, this was used on earlier firmware to put the drives in boot x mode
Have a read here and then post if your still uncertain

I have now opened my xbox (my bad) Its a benq vad6038
hw ver j-da1a4
fw ver 64930c
So now after looking again. I need the ck3 + jungleflasher + iextrem. No need for the probe. In the video it said that there was other metheds to flash but the ck3 would be a better option. Is there another method since the video or should i just go ahead and get the ck3. Thank you again for all your help.

Donwload jungleflasher
Download IX LT 1.1 for BenQ
Download JF Guide, and read the Benq section TWICE
If you not got compatable chipset, buy PCI VIA 6421
You dont need the CK3, you can do the benq without it, using xbox's power to power the drive

Check the manufacture date on the back of the xbox. I will be able to tell you what your options are then.

its most likely a 9 series Drive. These drive have to be solder and have an Executer Switch fittted.
Best option would be to get someone local who does this and get it flashed. Unless you are comfortable with soldering then you could do it yourself. There is a tutorial on here for them and how to do them.

If the title at the top of this thread says:
"Which mod is the best to buy"
Then where is the thread that has a list of the Moderators for sale?

No thanks, shit, fleas and fur all over.
Can't decide on Smirnoff_Rules because he is cool or PermairD because his milage correction, radio decoding in hex is mind blowing.
