I have a kryptview and a Scientific Atlanta box on the same line. The line is split, and then a 20db booster placed on the leg going to the Kryptview.

I cant boost the signal prior to the split since the booster doesnt allow the return path.

I have gone into the diags on the SA and it says:

Installation pre hit:
531 Mhz normal frequency
attenuation n/a
remodulation 21
qam 64
symbol rate 6.952
modulation error rate is around 33db
pre rs bit error rate 0
post rs bit error rate 0
input signal level -3dbmv
signal lock status - locked

MCNS data
frequency down 331 mhz
frequency up 213 (or 21.3 - cant read my writing)
qam down 256
qam up qpsk
S/R down n/a
S/R up 1.28
signal level down -1
signal level up 59
modulation error rate 37

The KV is pixelating a bit. Any ideas on what I can do to resolve ?

Would a 30db booster supporting return path help if i placed it on the line coming into the house prior to the split ?

Thanks

sometimes they pixelate when signal is too strong then you need an attuneunator. have you tried removing booster to see what this does
