you can try using cable #27 and the CAN adapter
or it might hav micronas in there

but id say most likely it has micronas, in that case you need somethingf like Enigma, DP3 etc

A rough guide is if the radio buttons are black its the earlier model,and if there silver its the later one with micronis

i did a Passat late 2006, 2 days ago with TACHO 2008. using cable 3 Dongle CAN Hardware for Tacho Universal & cable 23 Cable VW CAN for Tacho Universal, it took a while tacho saying working for a very long time 3 minutes. Tip for you tried it with tacho saying golf autodect, change it Passat 6 and tacho found the km. i just play around with autodect, then trying golf 5 , then Passat and played around.if the car has been in VW they can put a service code in. Sometimes with the Tacho guide are wrong to what tacho is telling showing on screen. china version i have, ive just order VAG super as well.

It must have been manufactured early 2006 and sat on the shelf before being sold either that or Youv had a miracle , but question in hand clOne boxes don't do Vw Past 2006, buy a decent box enigma dp3 dashcoder etc or buy the Cheapy micronas shite from china
