i downloaded the fix and installed it but still does not work.
is there something i'm doing wrong. I'm only getting bbc1 - 5 and some fta channels

you need to flash ur box with the latest firmware.mine went down and ive flashed mine with 28/11/08 firmware its working fine but i might need to flash again when its all been sorted out.thanks to all who contribute to site.............

im not sure what im doing wrong but ive connected up the box to my laptop but the box isnt saying 0000 even though i have installed and updated the drivers:hmpf:...any ideas?oh and im using windows vista if that makes a difference?

If you are using a USB - RS232 cable & null modem cable you may have problems, better to use a PCMCIA - RS232 adapter or use a PC. Sounds like your flash went wrong, try again.

You need to extract it (right click - extract here) and use the loader to flash your box.

Yes mate you must get a null modem cable ?2 from that well known auction site or circa "10 from maplins (other pc shops sell them as well).

If you need it urgently try Maplins.

If not so urgent you can get them a few quid cheaper online.

You can get the cable from Maplins if you need it urgently.

Otherwise you can save a few quid buying online.

Do make sure that you get a null modem cable and not just a serial cable.

I managed to get two of them working perfectly with the new codes and with the 3rd one, doing all the same things as the previous two everytime I click red-red-standby to download th new firmware I keep getting the following message: The Dowloading is not Requested.

Anyone know what to do?
