read it like 24c16 or 24c32... any eeprom programmer can do it...

It's not possible from serial number mate...
Try to connect a diagnostic equipment to the car and go to radio section...
I have seen personally how "Car Brain" diagnostic equipment sees the code on Audi TT .

hi freind, never heard that diag equipement can give radio code, i have vag com (original from ross-tech) and VASPC 5054A V17 and noway, no code with diag equipement

I would say that any radio with can bus connections can be decoded via the can interface. You should also be able to unlock the set and write a new code. :-)

I have tried it with the carbrain.
It is not possible i am for sure.

You can recode it to work with the rest of your soundsystem and cd changer but that is not the same Code for unlocking your radio.
