Need info about ford explorer 2006 model odometer programming.i am attaching picture of that model .Please send me details of this vehicle because tommorow i have to programm it.

anyone have picture of the pcb ford explorer.Is it easy to make need to remove needle or not.

hi mate, you can remove needles without problems and try to find 93C86 eeprom, and here is your adress :
Car type: Ford Explorer - 93c86 - 2005-2007 years
The mileage is stored in the next lines:
0500: F3 CA E7 95 CF 2B 9E 57 3C AF 79 5E F2 BC E5 79
0510: CA F3 95 E7 2B CF 57 9E AF 3C 5E 79 BC F2 79 E5
0520: F3 CA E7 95 CF 2B 9E 57 3C AF 79 5E F2 BC E5 79
0530: CA F3 95 E7 2B CF 57 9E AF 3C 5E 79 BC F2 79 E5
all shown bytes is a mileage

hi
i have smart pro x5 programmer and upa programmer.Is it easy to do with these programmer they both have 93c86 eeprom inside support.please let me know which device i have select and which manufacture like atmel,st and device i have to select is 93c86 or 93lc86 or 93s86 .
Please send me details.Thankx for the calculation i have tachosoft 20.1 software.

If you gona be arround these bussines it time to do some research about IC EEPROMS.

The best way to leearn is read google them you will find for you selve.

Will take some time to understand them but is like going to the school.

so these is you homw work for today.

What is :

VCC ?

What's EEPROM ?

Serial bus devices ?

Parallel bus devices
