Programme Corsa C BCM with Opcom?

got a corsa c here with a bcm that i can't read with opcom, it just times out, is it a dead bcm or can it be reprogrammed using opcom?

is this the one fitted (usually submerged) in the water trap fusebox in the engine bay? what year, engine version etc is car?
