Fiesta 03 dash help please

Please help, Ford Fiesta 03 with 24c08 chip, I wrote mileage with Tacho 2008 programmer write successfully, connected to car mileage showing good mileage reading, when I drove the vehicle on the road the needle on mileage not showing the speed I was driving so I stopped the car and I switched the engine off then on now the dash is not showing mileage just dashes - - - - - I then wrote the original file I saved it still no joy, if I had put the wrong file the car would not have started, could some one help me any thing I can do now. Check eeprom soldering and go over all you did should solve it

As it said the ALIMMO friend, to verify eeprom soldering, also the correct position of the Eeprom pin 1.

Hi thanks for your help.
I did not take the eeprom out I just read it with the clip save it and adjust and the reading was successful car started all gauges worked fine and suddenly it went blank al the dashes, any other tip I will appreciate your help.

hello unsolder your chip load your original data write all and adjuts your new value and soder your chip it will be work sure let me know

You must have corrupted the dump and its totally crashed when it started clocking up again, post the dump on here and let one of the experts have a look at it

I have a Tacho Universal 2008 and I have saved the dump but how can I send the dump on my desktop because I can not see any option to send the dump from Tacho Universal to my computer I will appreciate your help again. Thanks again.

Downloaded TachoDump programme on desktop and connected on com 1 but just can not figure out how I am going to get the file from Tach Universal in to the desktop. I need more info m8s I am sorry to keep nagging about it. Please I thank you for your time and help.

start tacho universal and press sync ... then open tacho dump on pc and click on load and then you will see option arrow sending out of tacho click on that and it will say dump send then open up and read or post here..

ps have you got a null cable or usb -serial??????

no probs m8 but i would advise you to remove all eproms from board /circuit in future as less chance of corruption ....[golden rule as far as im concerned] if you are not confident in lifting eproms get old stereos from the scrappy and practice with hot-air removal youll canter it in no time..

Friend your dump is corrupted you need to configure with scanner Frod VCM!!! and will start

Hi M8s its sorted this is what caused it, this morning I took the battery terminal out and I put it back and I was back on business what can I say, I thank you for all your effort trying to sort my mess out. I am going to put more donations to your forum it?s the only one.

hi ive noticed in your message you have done a fiesta dash, we have a 02 fiesta and want to do the dash but cannot find the right dash pdf instructions on our cd that came with our tacho they seem to be all old type dashboards, do you have the right instructions that corrospond to this dashboard?????

I haven?t got the PDF but it?s the easiest car to repair mate.
USE BOARD NUMBER (39) 24COX
Remove the cluster and open it.
(1) Look for the 8 pin chip 24c08
(2) Look for the silver chrystal and join its contacts
(3) Connect the clip to port 3
(4) Put the clip on the chip 24c08 (red on the pin 1)
(5) Select the menu FORD-FIESTA before 2002 or after
(6) The tacho Universal shows you the old value
(7) Select the menu Adjust KM
(8) Enter the new value
(9) Verify the new value with OK
WHEN ALL DONE REMOVE BATTERY TERMINAL FOR TWO MINUTES PUT EVERY THING BACK JOB DONE.

I just forgot to tell you that make shore you save the dump when ever you do fiesta from 2002 because if at any time the dump is corrupted or you did not save you will end up taking your car to the dealer because the chip has got the immo dump the car will not start. Dealer to repair dash ?488.00.
