I have a toroidal dish with 4 LNBs.
During my first attempts I connected the DM800 directly to the 28.2e LNB, bypasing the Diseqc.
In this setup my DM800 was rebooting when scanning certain HD channels at 28.2E (sly uk).
At first I thought it was a faulty tuner (Rev K) issue, so I used a replacement tuner (Rev L). Unfortunately this didn't make any difference.
Then I thought I should try connecting the DM800 through the Diseqc.
In this setup the DM800 managed to scan all channels without rebooting (13e and 19.2e also).
All these make me think that there may be a compatibility problem with my LNBs and DM800 when it comes to Sly UK HD channels. And as it seems, the Diseqc somehow fixes this problem. Could this be true or am I thinking BS?
I need to setup this DM800 to work on a single LNB and not through a Diseqc, so should I try a different kind of LNB? If yes can someone suggest what type should work best (for Sly UK)?
