star compact 3

Hello
I would like to buy a mercedes star compact 3 from
china and have read that there are some that work
well and some that dont, some that work on cars but not on trucks.I would be grateful for
any feedback from members that have bought one.

When i bought mine it didn't work at all so i returned it and they sent another one. It worked good but i was having problems with DAS not seeing me turning the key off when asked. I went out and bought a real change over cable (232 to 485) and it now works Flawless. I have to say buying from China is a 50/50 but if you buy off Ebay and use Paypal you cut the risk of getting ripped and with Ebay they most likely will give you support.
