I have done a packet capture and process monitor when running the keymaster software it goes off to keymasterapp.dyndns without giving to much away. then basically just displays whats on the website. No Malicous code as far as I can tell. great stuff. (pre-requisite is to have dot net installed).
It may take me a while but When I get some spare time. I will write a some vbscript which will read the website pipe this to a text file called newkeys.txt. It willl then read the key on the key.txt on the dreambox if it is different to newkeys.txt it will overwrite the keys with new keys in newkeys.txt.
I am not a vb guru but I think I should be able to update the files on the dreambox from a text file. I might struggle to be able to read from a webpage (never done that part before). Anyway it would really help me out if the developer of the executable could allow piping the results out to a txt file.....
I could then set this as a scheduled task in windows xp to run
Once we have this method of updating keys we can stop using soft cams. I can then upload the code. and someone will then may be able to develop the code more which can then run as an addon from the dreambox its self.
