Google chrome generally for everything browsing, easy interface, fast etc.
I.E. explorer for my betting (Betfair doesn't load properly on Chrome).
I.E for Selling stuff on Ebay... Chrome is shite for inputting stuff, it ends up as a single continuous line.
Firefox for killing people with quake online.
Opera on my Mobile phone.

manxspud

Chrome for most things ...

Firefox for capturing streaming video & Audio ...

Opera for some things ...

Seamonkey ... just because i like it.

Never use Internet Explorer unless a web site insists.

I have used Firefox for years now, and years to come, the safest and fastest browser ever!

It aint the fastest tho. Even the bird who made Firefox says chrome is faster.

The bird in question is Mitchell Baker... a great woman.

As a hobby, she is a skilled trapeze artist, "flying" two or three times a week.[13][14] She can also speak conversational Mandarin Chinese.
She is known for her unique hair style, with her hair cut in a bob on the right side of her head, and very short on the left. Her hair coincidentally bears a resemblance to the Firefox logo.[

I tried Opera ... Chrome ... Firefox ... Seamonkey ... IE ....

Chrome was the fastest every time.

DJ_Digtal
19th July, 2010, 08:55 PM
mozilla Firefox, with a few great add-ons

chrome has a programmed trojan that secretly sends your search strings to google (spy?), and IE (ugh) is not even open for debate with me.

there was a great browser in the mid 90's called Planet_? (something- dont remember) but the gov't took it off the market as it was uncrackable by them.

however i dont knock anyones choice, and i will try a new one out if the preview looks good.

firefox. i've tried opera and chrome, but firefox just has the best feel of the three. the bloated memory is probably from 60+ tabs and add-ons i usually run. i learned to live with it.

I use chrome , with IeTab extension when it necessary.

I also use Desactivate google analyttics extension for privacy : https://chrome.google.com/extensions/detail/fllaojicojecljbmefodhfapmkghcbnh?itemlang=fr

I use chrome for file explorer , simply add " file:///C:/ "to bookmark , then add " file:///C:/ " in IeTab auto-url .

I was using Firefox for a long time because of its great extensibility, also I have some experience in using Opera, Google Chrome and, of course, IE. But once I decided to look for something completely unfamiliar - like Seamonkey. So, I downloaded it, installed, run and... was surprised! Somehow it has absolutely alien look (probably due to missing close tab buttons), but suddenly I loved it! besides, it has plenty of options and facilities, which Firefox itself lacks, but I still wish more add-ons were available for Seamonkey.

Opera Rulz! Fast, reliable. They at Opera have found out and led in the new comfort functions e.g. Mouse Gestures, Tab Browsing (Reopen closed tab!), Speed Dial, Integrated features like Irc, Torrent, Mail client, comfortable Bookmarks structure, Session saving, improved Fast Search (just type a g in the address field) and so on and then the others "stole" these.

I use two browsers, mostly Opera which is lightning quick and pretty secure but is far from perfect.
The other one is Pale Moon which am liking more each day as its also quick and most Firefox addons work on it..

i use the majority overall i don't really have a preference it really
depends what your looking for in a browser custom features security or links to Googles nice features.
the safest i would say would be opera because i think its
the only browser that uses tls 1.2 then Google chrome then ie then Firefox
