need help!

hi i need help with a cluster the chip seems to be different then its supose to be its a 93c56 but instead of an 8pin chip it has 14 and im woundering how to program it also it seems there some kind of lacker or finish on ithow do u remove? if some one could add me to msn or yahoo that would be great!

92 bmw 325i will post pic of chip in a min but i dont think it is the wrong ship its the only one visable

ok, first things first
remove the laquer, do you have nail polish remover? if so use it with little paint brush LIGHTLY on there and wipe clean with tissue, if not go buy some Nitromors (http://www.u-diy.co.uk/index.aspx?s=Product&p=1491) or some IPA (http://www.rapidonline.com/Tools-Fasteners-Production-Equipment/Service-Aids/Cleansers-Solvents/Isopropyl-IPA-cleaning-solvent/61590/kw/87-1080?source=googleps&utm_source=googleps) and this shud clean your pcb

second, take a full picture of both sides of pcb and post here

ps. try 2 use a better camera, without flash and plenty of back lighting
