you can add sats this way go to the satellite setup menu then scoll through the sats on the top line til you come to an empty slot (0.0E)or you can change a sat you dont use.press green button "rename"and put the name of the sat in by the keyboard that pops up.then exit and drop down to sat degrees press ok and put the sat position in your case 40.0E. press yellow button "save"then exit and go to advanced search sat should now show on top line.you now press green button and add the transponders you require in the second line.and scan(if you have the super model you can do a blind scan) patching should not alter your sat positions.use USALS and the dish will find the sat automatically. The problem with blind search is that as you are so close to 39E you can pick their channels.if you know which TPs you want its best to go the advanced search way.I must confess 40E is not a sat I use

this sat should be on your list mate, unless you have deleated it, i have it on my tm 6000 sat list. you could save your motor settings if it's set on usuals and your chn list.then do a factory re-set and
then the sat will be back on your receiver sat list.
but when i scan this sat it picks chns up that are on 42e anyway
plus i dont think you get all the tp's/chns from the uk that are shown on kingofsats
