hi been reading through posts for a while:embarassed::embarassed: trying in get my starview box up and running again same as everyone else :D is the problem solved and can anyone run me through the process i am not v tech minded:embarassed:

Have a look at the thread below, it will tell you how to get the keys and how to input them manually.
wiserommer has added a nice wee video aswell at the end to show how to do it.

you only need to enter 2 lines of code, you'll get these from the keymaster prog avaliable on this site

I have tried to input the new codes manually but they return to the old settings what ever I do.
I have downloaded keymaster.rar but my laptop does not reconize the program.
Can someone help pls?

I am having the same problem.I know how to update the codes but simply can't find the codes.Have downloaded the keymaster program but nothing I do opens it,it would be really helpful if someone could place an idiote guide on how to get the keycodes from the program.
And I'm the idiot .

Ok, I now have the keymaster, but it does not give me the code for nthell england.
This is so confusing, I have a headache and think I'm going to cry!

What area of England, if its NTL, use the Pure keys.

When you say cannot get the codes, do you mean keymaster wont run ???

If so you need to download and install net framework from microsft. The keymaster needs that to work.

it is there, just move your cursor to the right of the last digit you see and you will see the last digit

Just one question, I was given codes yesterday and they are obviously the wrong ones for my machine, but they worked in my mates starview3.

Is your m8 in a different area ??? If not then I have no idea.

My mate has got the key program and his machine now works (SV4) I have the same machine and the same codes but mine does not work (we are both TW) do the codes vary from area to area - he is in Kent and I am in London?

He is in Hampshire where I am in Surrey, so that could explain it.

Ok, got the keymaster working. I have tried all the codes and none of them work for my area, Manchester.

I am doing it right, done this a hundred times before without any trouble

Google it, you should find a free one, do not pay for it

M8, you are wasting your time now, Woking, surrey is now full nag3. Thats it, end of free TV for you.
Move on m8, get your self a DM500s and look into C/S.

No new firmware or codes, its the end m8.
