newbie - starview 6 LAN just few questions

just got a starview 6 LAN - here is my questions...

do i have to use both CARLING and GrooveRider in order to update sv6 LAN

do i have to connect starview using LAN as 24/7? what if i dont? what will happend?

yes i did managed to get sv6 working - basically i went to this page (4shared - free file sharing and storage - share folder - My 4shared (http://www.4shared.com/dir/6791846/54781b9c/sharing.html)) to download software called "CARLING-1.00 FOR UK.ups" and follow instruction carefully....

im sure some1 will come up with new firmware to catch up with N3..
