HELP ME TO READ CHIS CHIP
I SOLDERIT IN ADAPTER p/c: 1-002-0005 CLON XPROG
BUT ALWAYS ON BYPASS SECURITY
IF THER ARE A WAY TO READ PLEAS HELP I HAVE SAM PROBLEME WITH 0D69J
THE XPROG THAT I HAVE READ ALL 9S12 WITH IN CIRCUIT BUT NEVER SUCCES WITH MC68HC05

I've got a old Sam module here and just had a go and same problem??? Stuck on security bytes..
Also can't find activation tab.

go into help on top line on screen then click
open the hardware info tab and select in authorisations highlight the mcu hco5 in blue then it will read

check connections on the chip
and the crap plcc sockets then setup from the start
i had a few problems too
doing what i said before worked i got a read and re write from the clone that way

Thanks for the help but it doesn't work... I'll have another go when I'll have a few minutes but not confident any more.
It could be my programmer but who knows??

No mate ,I was quoting the previos post about connecting a external power supply..

I have the original X-prog, and some time I have lost the eeprom of HC05, that during the Bypass.
Attention! before read the uP make it cold, after soldering wait some minuts and after read repet again and compare the two or three files. After that, you are sure for eeprom.
UPA don't read this uP when is protected.
Better ETL

you mean etl 705 ?

i have read succefuly the chip whith ETL 705
BUT when i try to programe with the new dump i have this problem in attachet picture :

Finally managed to read it...not sure what was wrong but just came back from holidays and had another go and all OK now..

I thought I'll let you know it works for me too..

I read this motorola only with bypass security adapter for HC05BX

Only clean work, ZIF adapter for qfpk64 ;)

hello ibm am trying to get working my etl705 clone but no succes
can you help me to solve this issue

if stuck on baypass security then OSC pin is not connected completly to xprog. Using adapter work every time, or there is posibility that frequency glitch is wrong inside xprog (second xprog connector pin 6 via 2.2k)
