JUST PURCHASED CARPROG AIR BAG PROGRAMER, MY QUERY IS DOES ANY ONE HAVE SOME PDF"S ON CONNECTION TO AIR BAG PROCESSORS,RECIEVED A FEW WITH TOOL BUT BEEN TRYING TO DO SOME FORD MODULES USEING DIAGRAMES SUPPLIED BUT KEEP GETTING ERROR MODUE NOT RESPONDING ANY HELP OR ADVICE WOULD BE GRATEFULL .WORKS OK THROUGH OBD WHEN GOT CAR, BUT PROBLEM IS WHEN GOT ITEMS ON BENCH MANY THANKS INADVANCE.

did you supply earth to the airbag module? this unit need the battery earth to be connected before you can test it

hi yes supplied earth and battery + will have to contact codecard but they are shut till 7 july ,

have you solved this ? I have same problem with carprog reading renault module on bench, but is fine using obd

you need 1k resistor between k-line and 12v

as far as needing to supply 12v & the resistor, are these things mentioned in the manuals?
If not, how yould a user know to do these things?

some tips are mentioned but you will pick stuff up as you go along, the mod mentioned aboveby Vienasisju above isnt for k line comms.

bridging the kline & 12v with 1k works.

i just did this hardware modifications. it was easy. is there any side effect?
