Dashboard Seat Ibiza Mk1 (1998)

Hi,

I want to replace my original dashboard with one from a Seat Ibiza EVO1. Why? Because it has the option to see your consumption. I found a dashboard + lever (wiper) where the controls are standing on for the dashboard. Is it possible to install this function and what happens with my mileage?? The dashboard comes from a diesel model and mine is a petrol.

Thanks for fast reply.
But a couple of people say it's gonna work and somebody else says it's not gonna work :banghead::p
Maybe I have to give it a try, because the lever and dash only cost 40 Euro (not mutch).
The only other problem is the mileage, How to change? Via VAG-com or can you chance my display with the other.

2 change indicator stalks i think youhav 2 remove steering, be careful and make sure battery is disconnected

Thanks, yess I know because the airbag. And then I can replace the dash when steering wheel is off.

Your ecu isn't clever enough to work out mpg I think. So you will never get mpg etc. Now sell me those tdi clocks as it will work in my tdi which was a lower spec ;).
