Hi to all.
there is a way with tacho universal with 2008.01 version of software. You must use dongle912. Remove tacho. Connect + (red wire) and gnd (black wire) to pins in main connector on tacho. Connect wire number 1 to pin 23 on the chip mc9s12dt256 (of course is not possible to connect directly on chip, you must find point on the board where is bridge to pin 23), connect wire number 2 to pin 42 on the chip mc9s12dt256 , wire number 3 leave free. Switch on your tacho universal, choose ford, then galaxy, then 2006- (9s12). On the display of tacho universal you will see your old stand, enter the new stand and press ok. Wait 30 sec. Thats all. I did it today and everything is ok.

hi,
there are no differences in any of the software versions of TU.

I dont know mate, I said for version TU which I have, if is in earlier versions option for (9s12) chip, then all of them can do it. I read somewhere that last version of TU is 2008.07 but I have 2008.01, also I dont know what's diferent between them. I wrote post because question was about ford galaxy from 2007 year and today I had ford galaxy 2008, I spent few hours to find solution for my TU, because I didnt have tutorial for this car and this evening I wrote post to help others with same problems.
Best regards.
