EEPROM dump req- 2000 E46 BMW 330i auto

When i reset the service interval it only goes to 5350 miles instead of the usual 15k ish. I think this is to do with the dash dump file but im fairly new to this so im not sure.

Any ideas?

does the car run fine?
iv come across this when theres faults in engine ecu that cause this, car will not accept service reset when theres a fault

also you cant just put any dump in, you hav 2 edit vin number first

yes car runs perfectly. i can reset the service interval and select inspection or oil etc, just the mileage count down only goes up to 5350.

I have the older motometer clocks so i can change the vin at will with pa soft 1.3.6.

i tried PA soft, carsoft 6.5 and the dash button/key method.... all just go to 5350 miles.

when iv used the trip button i get that, when i use the scanner i get error message like, conditions are not met, hence dtc's in car, scan your car mate

sorry, scan it in which way? as i said im pretty new to this stuff.

do a full diagnostic check on it with pa soft, check all ecu's
