S/W to read/write EEPROM files MP3 and 5 series ECUs

Hi DKers,

I am into Citroens but am still in the late 1990s. The two I currently have are:

Citroen Xantia 2.0l 16 valve RFV with MP5.2 0261203811
Citroen Xantia Activa 2.0l turbo RGX with MP3.2 0261204839

Do you know of any software that can read and/or write to the program flash chip in these ECUs? I have looked at KWP2000+ and Galletto but they seem to start at MP7.x level ECUs.

I think I have found copies of the original bin files but I would be interested in looking at some tuned files if they were available.

Both ecus have a 27c512 DIL28 chip inside. No flash memory.

You might be right about the MP3.2 as I haven't actually looked inside the one I have as yet. I have seen a picture of an older MP3.2 that had a DIL chip inside but this is a pretty late spec 1998 unit.

I am looking into an MP5.2 and this one has an AN28F512-120 PLCC32 flash chip inside neatly soldered onto the PCB. I have seen two others that are the same.

The chip tuning sites all seem to say that these ECUs have maps that are flash upgradeable.
