Hello all!

I'am new here! (Found this forum while googling for a solution for my navi problem.)

Have got this "nice" part in my car:
Blaupunkt
7 612 001 021
BNO 881
VW Radio Navigation MFD
3B0 035 191 D
VWZ1Z7D...

Battery became weak a few weeks ago and now navi want's me to enter its code but the code card isn't there anymore (used car). Went to my VW dealer which searched the code for this radio in his computer. Should be 0331 but this code doesn't work! Any suggestions how this could happen?

I have allredy read in other threads that I have to dump the fis what I have done today with a gallep 3 programmer.
But I coulden find any informations about how to calculate the code from the dump.
Can anybody help me with this part and/or explain me how to do it? (Allways willing to learn something new.)

Greetings spag!

You must write only good dump with code.

Hi deffc0n!

Thanks for the quick answer!

I read about this technique but I would prefer modifying the fis eeprom as plan b.
I don't think that the fis data has been corrupted so I would like to leave it untouched if there is another possibility of recovering the original code!

Read about calculating code from fis dumb in other threads. Is this possible in this case?

Prusony you're my hero! Works great!
Can you explain my how you do this? Or is this secret knowledge or a secret tool?

Btw: Do you have any idea how this could happen? An error in the database at vw, damaged eeprom content or an overwritten eeprom through inserting a wrong navigation cd or has the previous owner put his hands on this? (Could see no solder marks there bevor I read the dumb. So he must have had needle adapters or something like this.)

Greetings
A very happy Spag

Just put it in the car.... if it then doesn't work then you have the wrong code.

Read fis like 24c64 and post here you dump.

Mean to connect with one programmer on pcb at SDA, CLK and GND, after this connect power on unit wait some seconds for show on display safe and after read like eeprom 24C32, 24C64, save files on bin format and post here and we try to help you to reset and find you code.

Is posible also the content of you unit to be corupted and for this reason not worked the code what you try it !
The reason for this problem can came from batery low voltage !
