renault megane/bosch 24c04

i am trying to immo off on this car and hope someone can help as the car will only start once with new dump,the eeprom is 24c04 fairchild and i'm wondering if it is the same procedure as the 24c02 by lift and joining pin 7 to pin 8 or replace? immokiller doesn't specify, also do i need to cut immo line as on this ecu as pin 59 is blank.

hi mate .you must replace original 24c02 with another one
not fairchild,put atmel or somth. like that
then what you read from original must be clean.put FF
on line 0040 fffffffffff
and on line 0050 fffffffff
cut pin 7 from board and connect it to pin 8 (eprom pin not ecu)
then cut immo line and start the car
immo led will flashing and chek led also
you can remove them from dash!!!!

thanks for your response nikinik,i feel i have a different ecu to this method as mine is a 24c04 with 2 plugs also there is no wire to pin 59,i have read other posts on similar problems and some say wp is on pin 3?
i have now removed ecu and wrote immo off dump back to 24c04 but unsure of the next step to take and which wire to cut?

hi wp is pin 7,
you beed to unconnect from pcb and connect to pin8 of 24c04.
NO need to cut pin 59.
if car not start post your dump here

40 and 50 linr are for 24c02
24c04 have immo location at the end

thanks,ok here is my 2 dumps, according to immokiller,i see a change on 170 and 1B0,will this be ok if i reload and lift and solder pin 7 to +5v pin 8?

program in 24c04wp lift pin 7 and connect to pin 8.

i have reloaded dump today and joined pins 7 and 8 but still it only starts once and then immo back on so either i need to cut immo feed or maybe write protect is on pin 3?eeprom is a fairchild 24c04,can i replace it with a 24c16?

You need a new 24c04 with wp function, original one does not have. I had these same problem some months ago. I solved it using an old 24c16 from an old radio (if I remember well). Worked fine for me. But forget to use original one, car will only start one time, first time.
