Hi hil.col, Aprilia Tuono owner myself, just bought after selling Factory rsvr.
Unfortunately I cannot answer you question, but have you been on the Aprilia forum, there is a wealth of knowledge on that website and the guys on there are fantastic and very helpful, hope you get sorted, Gary.

Hi Mate ,
had an intermittent speedo fault on my CBR600 and found it to be a cable break/short , it never blew the fuse , just stopped working when it felt like !
I put a meter on it , when i had it apart , fitting a backlight bulb and found it .
Hope this is your fault , as it's cheaper than a visit to the dealers !
