Car type: Ford Fusion - MC9S12H256 - 2006 year
Forget about Tachouniversal. UPA or XprogM will save u

we can also use the the TACHO to do this type also
done many ...........
but it will not let u save the DUMP from the Processor
the safest way to do is to use the Elrasoft's upa-usb

It would be very advisable to read up carefully any manuals you might have about your diga before having a go at this type of processor. If you were trying to read other devices on the board that happen to look like 8 pin eeproms you can consider yourself very lucky not to have corrupted them or completely blown them.
And another big difference is - the vehicle immobiliser data is in this cluster and if that data is lost or corrupted, it's a very expensive trip to the Ford garage on a breakdown truck
All these Ford Focus/Fiesta/C-max type clusters made by VISTEON changed to 9s12 around 2005 and don't store the mileage on eeproms. Good luck!

Let me help you..

COnnect 912 dongle like picture, if you can't read right value with diga, save dump with 912 tools and post dump with actual mileage here.

You have to connect the 912 dongle, the nubers on the picture are dongle numbers. If it reads the right value then you can program, you can save also the dump with diga no problem.

don't bridge the quartz.

If it reads the correct value program and job done. If not save with 9s12 tools then post dump here.

Hi, I saw the photo for wiring to the 9s12 on an earlier post and I know this is for a fusion but does anyone know if this is the same for a 2008 "57" fiesta visteon and if not does any one have a similar photo of where to connect the 912 dongle for fiesta.

Thanks in advance
