am having probs with ma dvd-r. i open my comp and then prop and it says that the device is working properly, but wen i insert a dvd it will not play. sum1 suggested i download utorrent>bitjunkie>power dvd. will this help or is ther an easier way. my comp came pre-istalled XPHOME and is about 5 years old.please help,THANK U:dontknow:

try vlc media player, it could be a problem with the codecs, these will be installed along with the player.

its free.

good advice dasteph vlc player is the way to go, no computer should be without it.
