Need a hard drive for my laptop

Basically after a hard drive for my laptop as currently its only got 80gb its a nice powerful machine just lack HDD space so need some recommendations cheap as possible!

Also i have on my current drive programs etc can i make an image of this and put on new hdd and would that work if so any pointers please?

Depends on wether its a IDE or SATA connection but ebuyer, cclonline and microdirect are the sites a mainly use.

If it is SATA & you want speed... Have a look at the SSD Hard Drives. Granted it will be costly & might not give you more space...but they are lightening fast.
