dream800 hd disable usb fan on standby?

got a fan running from usb
but when standby fan still run
is it possible to disable the usb when dream is in stantby

Not possible via usb mate , i have read of people doing a mod , and taking power from pin 7 (i think) of the scart socket , as this powers down in stand-by mode

same here, iv got a laptop cooling pad under mine, keeps the box ice cold whuch is a good thing and it has stopped the freezing on some channels. i just shut the box down on a night and then unplug the dreambox.

it has to do with scart PINs (may be # 8 or 5),which transfer/regulate the voltage running the fan!

As know the scart has 12 pins!

I founded it , use only PIN # 2 and 4 only!

theres a usb inside on the mainboard and i read somewhere
someone was using that with a usb laptop cooler, but i cant
remember if that stopped the fan on standby
