Help with technomate loader

hi guys first post ive connected my technomate to pc and in can find it when i select the com port says turn on receiver but its on ive connected a usb to rs male to a patch lead what am i doing wrong help please.:(

we need a bit more info to help you mate
are you also useing a null modem cable from the
usb to serial cable from a usb port on the computer?
and are you wanting to patch the receiver?
what model is your tm and does your tm have a usb port?
