Hi i have an old style black rectangular (not the XS evolution) Lexia3 interface that doesent work anymore. The laptop recognises it, the LED lights up & it allows the lexia program to start however it will not comunicate with any ECUs on any model. It is a genuine actia model not a chineese clone & used to work ok. Does anyone have any idea how to go about repairing it ? Ive opened it up to check for anything obvious like loose connections or dry joints but all apears ok. I've also tried the 16pin end with a good known working one & still no joy.

Has it got the same partnumber as an Evolution 1970.Z.5. If it has then you need the 16 pin lead off an EVO . Yours will have the word CINCH on it but you need an MXG lead(EVO), you can mod it but I cannot remember what the pin configuration is.
