strange VW Gamma model, need help with code

Hi everyone,
i am trying to get the code for this radio cassette:
here are the details on the radio sticker:

VWZ3Z3B7861601
GAMMA V 1J0 035 186D

it doesn't say if its blaupunkt or grundig? but if its Gamma i guess its blaupunkt, right ?
also, i dont know which eprom chip to read from, the circuit board on this model is totally different then others.

Can anyone help please?

hi, very sorry to bother you but i cant see where this 24C04 is situated ???
is it 8 pins like 25160 ?
there are many chips which have the same numbers so i guess its not those ones, there is one which has this on it:

L9637D
ST 9225

I HAVE TRIED TO READ IT AS 24C04 BUT DOESNT WORK

ANY MORE IDEAS PLEASE?

HI, yes you are 100% right, it is technisat, i have just checked on Nyo4 and it says:

MEM 2X24C08
Code is stored in RIGHT side eeprom

i will try to find this chip and let you know

i can't find the right chip 24C08 or 24C04, can someone help please? most chips are identical with same reference numbers on them, apart from one but i cant read it, it says blank chip? and it doesnt have 24c08 or 04 on it.
have a look at the pictures below, maybe you can point me in the right direction,

Thank you very much for your help, i was supposed to remove the bottom cover of the radio to see it.
anyway, i have read the eprom, but i use Calcgen and there is no option for sony or technisat, i have tried with blaupunkt and it says ????
can somebody help please, here is the dump

It might say technisat but it is the same as the Sony Gamma V. At this moment writing a known code is the way to decode them unless anyone has worked out the algo.

As an educated guess on what I have found so far your code should be 1?02 where the ? stands for unknown digit. You could try the 10 combinations as you have your original dump to write back if it doesn't work.

ok thanks, this will take a long time though because everytime 3 wrong codes are entered i have to leave the ignition on for 2 hours to reset and get another 3 attempts..
i have another radio, Gamma but from blaupunkt, can i copy the contents of the chip into the one of Gamma V or am i talking rubbish?
