BMW Pre-2007 which interface?

Hi Guys!
I've spend a few hours reading threds around here, but honestly some of them they make me evan more confused... lol
Only thing i'm looking for is an interface to connect to pre-2007 BMW's... the ones without D-CAN....
After a few researchers i'm about to get this tool...

All i'm looking for is a pc based interface to do more bmw's as possible (pre-2007)...

I'm aslo looking at carsoft 6.5 interface, is that one any good?
I don't have a big budget, but i'm willing to spend a bit more if anyone has another sugestion...

Any help will be very appreciated...

I am having best results with the ADS interface it can do cars up to 2007, like the OBD interface, but also cars older than 1995, unlike the OBD. The downside is that you have to use a real serial port (at the right hardware address, I think it is 03F8.... some PCMCIA cards can emulate it, but those are the most expensive)

EDIT: the ADS interface probably won't work with Carsoft. On the other hand, the Carsoft interfaces I've seen all work as OBD interfaces with INPA. If you don't need to work on cars older than 1995, OBD/Carsoft interface might be the better option.
