How to unlock Vito 638 110CDI ECU

2 days ago, I accidentally deleted CDI version coding. At that time, I could startup the Vito but EDC on and limp.

I only guess and try but in vain. This morning I entered the code 177 002 002 to my Vito with VIN 63809423539475. This code was accepted but EDC still on. May be tried more than 20 times, finally it failed to startup. I listented to the relays were operated but fuel was cut out.

Refer to the WIS if the coding is tried more than 20 times, the ecu will lock.

Does anybody know "ecu lock" means cut diesel supply and finally fail to startup?

I want to know:
1. the ecu had been locked or not ?
2. the coding was still wrong for my vito ?
3. if really locked how to unlock ecu ?

Would anybody please give a hand to me. Thanks a lot inadvance.

after 50 start,is new ecu blocked,
no problem,read eprom c2404 and coding with star

I am a newbie about ECU. Can you teach me step by step what I should do now ?

I have star diagnosis ( DAS ). Is this enough to recifiy ECU problem ?

Get yourself a programmer and read the chip Mercis talked about and then post the dump here , you get it virginned and then you do coding with STAR and you bet all will be well
