Hi guys,
I bought a Carprog recently, mainly to use for making keys for BMW, Merc and reading login for opel.

How user friendly is the hardware?
I see pictures on the web page that confuse the SH*T out of me!

OPEL login reader from motor hybrid ECU. (http://www.codecard.lt/carprog/software/opel-login-reader-from-motor-hybrid-ecu-works-with-bosch-me1-5-5-siemens-simtec71-simtec71-1-delco-diesel-delco-multec-/prod_129.html)

I take it that it can't read opel pin via OBD. I need the pin for key programming.

Cheers guys. :)

Hi,

i have Carprog to,
and is working great, you can read pin by OBD,
but the main purpose of this tool
is for reading on table pin from ECU - ,if you have a spare hybrid ECU you read pin ,change content of eeprom, reset ECU on table etc, and you can use it in other car.
If you have the car, pin can be reded from immo box,or other module,is not needed such an expensive tool...
