EWS Bench Synch ..... anybody has done it ???

Hi , what im trying to achive is to synch a Virgin bmw ecu MS42 to a existing good ews and matching key on the bench .
I have rigged a PA soft bmw scanner 1.4.0 with the ECU ,EWS and Ignition ring with matching key but i cannot get the ews to show up on the scanner .
Does anybody has try this before ....?
