2002> clio use id46 embedded on remote key head,
program once then locked and cannot be reused on another car without new id46 chip inserted

new keys with remote are cheap enough , not worth using second hand ones

you can use this with a new chip soldered to a secondhand key , the file is needed to be adapted to the key however with a programmer like ad900/keycrypt/zedbull etc, the instructions are in the individual software of the programmers,

Ah thanks.

So unless i'm in the dim crowd you get a new chip, use this above file
to 'format' the chip so it knows its going to be used on a reno, vw opel
etc, then you use your 'MVP, SBB T300 ' whatever to tell the car it has a new key.

But this file can 'only' be used by the machine that created it - tango or whatever?

thanks
Meaty.

M8 just get your hard earned cash at meat-head motors and spend a little on zed bull we talked about. It precodes the transponders as you say to tell it its going to be used on renault.

Think what autolockmasters posted, is the precode that can be used on any hi-tag2 programmer.

Some folks aren't aware of this but, I don't own Meat-Head-Motors, just
work there, so anything that is purchased comes out of my own pocket.

Yes Zedbull clone you mentioned, bargin $5 - it's $10 for sucky sucky
in Meat-City.

The price you mentioned would make not worth looking at a 2nd hand Gambit

BUT

Meat-Head-Motors RARELY need stuff like this, yet it is handy to have.

A few months ago got an invite to a party, PM'd member Z786 - he knows his gear - got a shit load off stuff off ebay - then lost the invite
to the party, and heard through the grapevine that all the firmware in the cloned gear at the party got trashed when everybody tried a 'mass
update'

The VAG Tacho 3.01 has been used for a Skoda milage INcorrection

The VAG Commander has been used to check the correct milage in engine ecu of above car - left it correct :wavey:

Sadly no go tried to programme out a airbag the otherday

The KWP2000 thanks to somebody and Lupu-Sandu can now immo off
a Ducato ECU - will have to find another doorstop.

The Op-com lead - that's funny as ~~~~ - think you got me hooked
on that Meat-City-Vauxhall now have one - it says "need internet to
work" ? :roflmao:

Lexia3/pps2000 - used once - offers - works

GM Airbag resetter - could have tried it, but the bloke was a tw&at

BMW 1.40 Scanner - seems to only work on one car! - Did the job
proved it was key faulty.

Autel EU702 - Thanks to DK it's awesome
BMW 16 pin obd thanks to DK awesome

Lots of software - thanks to DK

Now - so i don't feel left out - assuming it arrives and the bloke sends
it and it works etc etc have got coming a SBB Key programmer - properbly only use it once every 2 years - if that - but all my friends here on DK have something.

Yet it also goes the other way - all my gear so can use it at weekends
The SBB programmer will be handy after a night at the pub, to get a lift home, just chuck some transponders in with the crowbar & hammer.
Think the guy is from 'Almost Never Never Land' - not that from away from you in 'Never Never Land' (Think)
