Golf III ecu bosch 0261203314/315 immo off needed

Hello Mates,
here this car is without transponder, and doesn't start, GOLF III 1996 with ecu bosch 0261203314/315 (as on the ecu box).
I Erased directly the file on 87C510, without reading (I haven't the programmer), and after get programmer, programmed with attached file, on a ST M27C512; put back, but no start always, and not een fuel pump hearing when put back ignition, I would try another 27C256 that I have, but not sure from the result.
My question is if the 87C510 can be replaced with thpse 27Cxxx ; and if there is another hint for this; because I saw on forum; that immoff can be done from immobox... really confused.

Guys, I just tried M27C256 with same file, and same problem; no start, no fuel pump working...
ANy ideas ?!

has your car started after you replaced 87c510 with ST M27C512 and set immo to off mode ? i want to do chip tuning to my VW Golf Mk3 and my ecu chip is 87c510 and i don`t know exactly if 27c512 works directly without an adapter.

27C512 will fit in place without adapter, the problem, I tried this, and car didn't started, if you want to modify file , either erase 87C510 and rewrite it (after read of course), or change it with similar virgin Chip. For my case, I did Immo off from Immobox, with HC05 programming.

thanks for the information. I only have Tomsad Willem Pro 4 ISP and i want to do some chiptuning on my vw golf mk3 AEA engine ... something like supercharger ... or maybe turbo ...

Try to look in supported devices in your programmer list.

commrace, start you own thread rather than hijacking this one.
but you will need to post a year & type of your car as they all run differenet systems.
but most times it will involve you reading a chip inside an immo unit or dashboard & wirintg a modified file back to it. Many vw can be done via diagnostic socket, but not all

I just did a golf 3 too & used this immo off file & can confirm it works.
I used xprog to re-write to the hco5 in the immo box
