Toyota Landcruiser Smart Key problem -- help

Toyota Landcruiser 2008 all smart key lost. Another locksmith tried to program key with toyota smart key programmer (chinese) but not able to program with chinese clone. It does not go into programming mode to learn to smart key. I read from another post this is a problem and cannot program toyota 2008-2010 with Tcode/sbb or chinese smart key programmer clone.

Question for the experts in this forum
1. Does this car use seperate immo box
2. If seperate immo box, can making the Immo virgin learn key
3. If yes, do you need to connect pin #4,#13 to match immo and ecu after learning key
4. Does smart key have transponder inside or can Ad900 be used to identify smart key or what do can you use to identify smart key type, suppose you want to get another one for customer since you have america, aus, and gulf state cars
5. Can smart key information be added to immo box manually, through eeprom editing like the toyota transponder key?
6. Any one used AVDI + toyota commander before and it solve this problem for 2007 - 2010
7. The locksmith friend want to call me to help him for this job, but i want to be sure i can get help before i make fool of myself

I have programmed this car with the red Chinese smart key programmer twice and it worked well. Also, Tcode and MVP can program this car using higher type numbers, i think strating from 8 so it depends on your tcode type. You can also use Toyota techstream to do it. I can send you manual for chinese programmer if you need it, you will choose 'lost all key option' to do it. For Tcode you need to use AD incode-outcode to get incode, i can give you Seedkey for Techstream so let me know which you decide to use.

I tried to do an Australian Prado 2008 a while back, AD100-PRO could not reset the immo, it was a conventional key, not smart key.
From what I gather, AD are close to a solution.

i have tryied the 4d key with new orange dongle it work.i have not tryied the smart section yet. can you pm the info. on how to program smart?so i can try it,i belive to add a smart key only takes a few seconds.if all keys lost then the reset is 10-15min. long for smart keys.

The Start button is the button on the car that starts the car.

I do not use it for such, infact i use Tcode or SBB for such and also do virgin-ning. Or use Techstream

After performing a smart key reset on a 2006-2011 Toyota & Lexus do not push the push button ignition on and off more the 10 times before you perform a smart key registration. This will lock up the ID code box & ECU certification. . This is a warning listed in a Toyota service bulletin.

You have to take the entire dash out to get to the ID code box.

i found same problem, sbb , ad100 ,can not program smart key when lost key, i have AVDI i try to program smart key for toyota land cruiser 2009 (S/N JTMHV09J694027063 V8.), every thing go ok , but the car did not start, i diagnose the main body , there a fult code(B2289), I try to erase but i can not.
other situation, toyota land cruiser 2008, there a smart key all ready, but it dos not work , also when i check it there B2289 .

All you need to spend is just 200Euro to get the J2534 softwae for your AVDI and then you download on dk the toyota techstream soft and you will do this cars, have done them so many times over using Techstream and also using the chinese clone smart key programmer. follow the steps in this manual and it will work i assure you. When you want to use techstream it will ask you for Seedkey which i can provide you when you are set.

Now perhaps, you could PM the original poster for an postal address so you can send him one of your devices for free for him to make his locksmith guy look foolish.

That way he can screw up his car using one of your devices rather than having to pay somebody else to screw it up for him.

i did 6 cars very easy i removed immo (very hard )it is back
air condition but if you try on it then you can remove without open dashboard after remove body control under driver's dash and you must virgin eeprom 2 devices.
now you can use ad100 pro and program keys.
in end you must connect to short pin4 and pin13 for 30min.

now start your landcruiser2008

are you sure done it on landcruiser with smart key or landcruiser prado? as far I know, the smart key sistem contains 1. smart ecu, 2.certification ecu, 3. steering lock ecu, 4. id code ecu, 5. engine ecu.....not sure if on a smart system is enough to virgin only 2 eeprom....maybe you can post more details on this.....thanks

smart key ecu 89990-60040(orignal 89990-60030) and

id box 89784-60030 original is 89784-60010

when i try to program key with automan secuirity light comes on for 30 sec
then off and does not program says failed

it should work, i have done it before, another option you may consider is to get another toyota with smart key (l/cruiser, rav4 or crown) add the l/cruiser key to that car and after you transfer data from smart box, id code, steering lock and synchronize engine ecu with id code ecu ( i have succeed oposite way frm. a land cruiser to crown, both with tokay reiki smart system).....
