I've been offered a V+ box at a good price but can I use it, something tells me that their setup to work with each household.

Hi Colin personaly i wouldnt buy any box of any kind at the moment if u allready have a snubbed box chances r that that 1 will be the same hope this helps

when i moved house last year the vm engineer who came to reconnect me told me that their boxes go on post code areas.
