bmw 318i 2004 ews data recovery

i have bmw 318i i recieve this with data in the ews all lost
i have try to read whole memory in 2d47j with etl
want to know if its possible to recover lost data
also want to know which chip in the ecu i should read

EWS Dump empty, only FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF
The cheapest I think buy new EWS and sync EWS-DME
Then you also can use same keys.

u mean new ews from dealer? or used one from another car?
do i have to read any memory from ecu for programming?

This type EWS only new from dealer.
This EWS belongs to your DME

New EWS accepts old keys (from your car!!)
When you put new EWS in car, starter will work but engine will not run.
When EWS-DME are syngronised (with software) engine runs to.
Sometimes starter also not works, this because coding in
new EWS wrong or FFFFFFFFFF(not coded)

Before you order new EWS be sure your DME belongs to car!
Maybe VIN on DME sticker or read with software first?

the old key got lost so i have only new key to programme for the car

Biggest problem with this type EWS, find virgin DME dump.
I see many people talk about it, but I dont see many
with running cars.

This type EWS:
At factory they connect new virgin DME and EWS togetter.
The EWS itself programs secret ISN rolling code table inside DME.
After that DME rolling code table cannot be changed again, it belongs to this unique EWS.
Only BMW factory database knows rollingcode inside DME.
Your own EWS is empty, so you also cant read it anymore.

You can try to read new EWS to program new (empty) key but if something go's wrong new EWS also EMPTY

Buy new EWS and one BMW key is the best I think?
