sorry for not replying sooner ,i have had problems with router and net connection.i am a complete noobe re.ipod how would i find the fw.what does this mean? many thanks for for helping me.:dontknow:

Ok you need to know the fw to be able to use the apporpriate jb.

Goto general>settings>about>firmware

It will tell you then what fw it is on.
