Hi,
I am currently looking into setting up some hardware for reading throughput on a large industrial oven.
The hardware "tags" will need to withstand the heat from the oven as they will be mounted on a frame passing through it, the oven reaches approximately 400c for about 60 min.
I found some RFID tags that from a company named "Leuze" that could get the job done. Problem is, I will need around 300 pieces and they cost a fortune.
Any ideas on how to solve this? It does not necessarily need to be RFID, as long as I get a distinctive ID from each"tag".
Tried with barcodes already, but they get dirty and unreadable after passing through the oven a couple of times.
Open for debate! All ideas welcome!
