View Full Version : Dash RB4 km correction

Hello everybody. I could use some help from more experienced members. Got this dump with vagcommander 2.5 and modified it myself and would love if somebody could check if modified dump is alright. After that could I use vagcommander again and just write back modified dump? Is there anything else I should be aware of? Would the dash have to be reset with vagcom? Do I need anything else to finish this job? Never done this type of dash before. I attach dumps below. Help and some input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again.

FILES ARE CORRECT, THE RECORD THAT CAN Mileage WILL WORK, MUST BE THE DASH A4 BOSHC 24C08 CRYPTO.

Car is away now, it will be back tomorrow. Today I only got dash dumped then it went away. Would try tomorrow and get back with results. Would be OK to write back with VAGCAN+K 2.5? Does dash need reprogramming after with vagcom? Anything else like disconnecting the car battery or pulling out fuse?

yes!
but dismantled the dash right in and reprogram eprom.

I loaded dump on dash with VAGCAN+K 2.5 and now dash show error. Do I need to disconnect battery? Does the dash needs resetting? Still got to dismantle dash and write with programer :-(.... It seems vag clone can not write this dash....

Back with results. Dash is sorted thanks to motosport. My modified dumps were not good. Thanks for help.
