DK Forum Dear friends
I searched online information on this subject but I find nothing.
I hope that some members of the forum can help me with this.
I have an Opel Corsa 1.6 GSI (Vaushall Nova), who used to run on dirt tracks. and I want to be able to reprogram the ECU, to take a little more performance to the car, but can not find information on how to do it, or someone to do it.
The injection system is JECTRONIC
The UCE is BOSCH (0 280 000 611) (90322064 GM)

Caulquier would greatly appreciate help in this matter.

Ernesto

0280xxxx is a Bosch L-Jetronic. Normally these were just a collection of resistors, there's no program/software or ecu inside. So, reprogramming is NOT an option.
I would use a aftermarket ecu instead.

Hello friend thanks for the reply.
I understand what you say.
What confuses me is the memory that is in the socket (see photo) ...
What information is stored there?

No idea. What's printed on the sticker? What numbers are on that chip?

I agree. Bosch eprom number. Some 27Cxxx eprom.
This is one of the exceptions. It does have software. The Bosch number on the chip also points to that.
Post the content of the eprom.

Thanks for your reply Olford.
I can read the EPROM with the UPA (16 PIN)?
What would be the connections?
Thank you very much everyone for your comments.

Remove the eprom from the socket and read it with an old-fashioned eprom programmer.

It is LE3-Jetronic, and of course is ECU based on microcontroller with memory device on socket with grey sticker. But don`t waste time to try reprogram it, because this ecu only do fuel managment, power gain will be minimum :).

The chip is no eprom like 27C. It is a Pal or Gal with the configuration of the system nothing more.
Like said above use a free programmable system.

Thank you very much everyone for your advice.
Prefer to think of another alternative to improve performance.

Thanks

1000% No, it is memory device :).
