Hi All I have here a Seat\Vw VDO dash I have taken out the main board, on thr main board are :

ULQ2004A-W990C9836

BA6AB-93C46EN

L4938E-R990A9836

What I would like to know please is

1 what chip is the mileage stored in
2 what is needed to extract the dump (prorame)
3 does the chip have to be removed from the board to do this?

Its better to do that. Only incircuit programmers can read/write without remove.
