renault laguna key card playing up !!!!

hi

my key card playing up i think ?? it opens the doors if i bend the corner slightly , but now when i put it in the slot where it goes to start it , it wont start the car ?? its been playing up for a while now , but now nothing , any quick fixes ??

Its the card reader (slot) or the coil in the card, best to get it plugged in and see what, if any codes come up

Poke someone with Renault Clip .

Sounds to me like the card, carefully cut open and using hot air station, go over chip and check buttons havent fell of pcb they usually do. lol



Ps its a Renault there is nothin quick about fixin a Renault. lol

as obdmaster says, it'll be the card. they seem to be a weak point on new renaults m8
