I have an edc7 from a MAN lorry which got jump started whrong.Two smt capacitors have blown off the pcb also a track seems to be gone going to pin 6 of the connector.any advice would be appreciated.Like has any seen this before? Or can I clone this edc? Thank you for reading.

buy another one
restore from backup

I have found a second hand edc.If I change the EEPROM from one to the other will it work?
